KIND WORDS
"Loved your talk! I didn't expect to laugh so hard, and I promise I will never look at an artist the same way again!"
Louisiana audience, 2019
"Kim Howes Zabbia has motivated countless students to become more intuitive problem solvers. With a paint drip, a pencil mark and an abundance of humor, Kim inspires artists to embrace the fears that would otherwise stifle their creativity."
Review, 2017
"The Pensacola Museum of Art held a 24-year retrospective entitled, Kim Howes Zabbia: Creativity vs. Fear, during October 17th through November 29th, 2014. This exhibition of Louisiana artist and author, Kim Howes Zabbia, was coupled with an artist talk on her body of work and an adult education workshop in which she taught her technique first- hand.
This was the first exhibition within a nationally accredited art museum for this artist and in such she was a valuable asset within curatorial planning. Zabbia wrote her own exhibition catalog as well as culled the selected works from a series of private, personal and corporate collections. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. The opening reception for this fall exhibition was one of our highest in attendance for 2014, including our opening reception for the international blockbuster exhibit, The Art of the Brick by artist, Nathan Sawaya."
